Mr. Ahmed Abdul Hamid, project manager, held an important meeting through video technology conference that included representatives of the Ministry of Environment, the Environmental Affairs Authority and representatives of the World Bank, which is the supervisor of the implementation of the project, the meeting also included representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture partner of the project and a number of other stakeholders, where the comprehensive review of the work by the project and its achievements and the recent efforts to identify, classify and analyze quantities of amounts of Abandoned pesticides in the ports of Alexandria, Al Adabiya, Safaga, and Nuweiba for safe disposal.
The project plan has been approved in this regard, and the project manager stated that all scientific measures will be taken and the highest standards and requirements will be applied for the safe disposal of these pesticides Abdul Hamid stressed the project's keenness to bring in the best consulting offices working in this field.
